I will now chair an approved Community Events Committee with meetings kicking off in Feb. 2022.

Solving volunteer events and community events have a lot of overlap so I've merged these. In Jan 2022 ANC1A meeting I proposed a community events committee. That committee was approved and I will be the chair. This work will be part of its mission.

After hearing this from folks I am exploring how to create a portal that houses all the volunteering opportunities for folks in the community in one place so that they're easier to find and engage with.
